Currently very quiet at the marina. The cliffs are always impressive. It's low tide at the moment.

Here you can buy fresh eggs, for example, in the small shop or, if it's closed, from the vending machine. Various other items are also available. Whenever I'm in the area, it's a must-visit – you can't get any fresher – and at a reasonable price.

To my knowledge, the large mill pond is leased by the Neustadt angling club, which also has rowboats available on the pond. There are benches at various locations around the pond, inviting visitors to linger. There is a campervan site near the forest swimming pool.

From here, you can also cycle to Blissdorf. It's a bit rooty at times, but the route via the 501 is dangerous and 10 times longer.

A nicer variation on what you can do with love locks. Much more exciting, however, is the excellent description of Cismar Monastery. It's definitely worth a visit! Cismar Monastery is only about 5 km away.
