Villa Arconati, located in Castellazzo di Bollate and nicknamed the "little Lombard Versailles", is one of the most majestic examples of a Baroque villa di delizia in Italy. The residence is entirely nestled in the green heart of the Parco delle Groane and the Brughiera Briantea, perfectly integrating art, monumental architecture, and nature.

I have reported the closure on OpenStreetMaps because Komoot DOES NOT correct mapping errors. I confirm that in May 2026 this footbridge is CLOSED AND ABANDONED, no one is working on it and there is no planned reopening date, apparently...

Attention: as of May 18, 2026, the bridge is closed from both accesses due to damaged and vandalized plank paving. The closure notice posted does not state when it will be repaired and reopened. Long delays are feared. Alternative route: from Mazzo di Rho, take via Ospiate, via Marconi, via Ghisalba to rejoin the cycle path to Villa Arconati-Parco Groane.

The Lago Nord Park is located in the municipality of Paderno Dugnano and features two lakes separated by a tree-lined walkway. The first lake is used for recreational fishing, while the second is characterized by a more spontaneous and wild development and is home to several species of resident and migratory birds. The lake's waters are artificially diverted from the Villoresi canal, flowing into the reservoir through a small artificial waterfall. The Lago Nord Park was awarded the European Community Prize for the best environmental reclamation of a sand and gravel quarry.
