Osturna was declared a Monumental Reservation of Folk Architecture in 1979. Several original buildings - Goral homesteads - have been preserved here. The village's development consists of individual farmyards, located on one or the other side of the road and stretching up to 9.5 km in length. The long plot of land of one farm stretches in a strip on both sides of the road, where the farmyard is situated. In the front part of the typical wooden log Osturna farmyard there is a house with a gable roof covered with shingles, in the back part there is a barn with a stable.
