The road is in terrible condition. This ride has become truly suitable for a gravel bike or a mtb, much less so for a road bike. The descent was absolutely sketchy. I would advise to avoid this route if you have a road bike with slim tires.

The hardest climb in my opinion but with great views at the top. Watch out for potholes ...

Kassimatis has been a Specialized importer since 2004, there are Castelli, LOOK, Mongoose and much more. There is also another Kassimatis Cycling Store in Piraeus. Highly recommended :)

The path there is technically easy but relatively steep. Orientation isn't easy, as several paths lead there, and they aren't well signposted. I first followed the red and then the yellow markings. The monastery itself is very beautiful. I was there on a Sunday and found the gates locked. Only a guard dog barked.
