The Østerklit farm dates back to 1688, and the Stockmühle (post mill) was built in 1912. A visit to Denmark's last still-functioning post mill, located in Østerklit on the Tversted Dune Plantation, is an absolute must during a holiday in Tversted. The farm burned down in 1981, and an extensive restoration project began in 1993. The Stokmøllen is now open 24/7 all year round. Information materials and an audio guide are available for self-service, and spotlights illuminate the various themes. On special occasions, you can see the mill in operation. https://www.visitnordvestkysten.dk/nordvestkysten/planlaeg-din-tur/stokmoellen-i-tversted-gdk599008

The path through nature here is simply wonderful, and on top of that, there is a magnificent view from the tower. From the south, there was also shooting heard the whole time 😕🤔

Very hard to see. As you come down from the Mile towards the road to the south - towards the shelter area - the path comes to a T, make a right and in 20 meters it is there.

Fishing boats, restaurants, the sound of the sea, that's how it should be.

Definitely worth seeing, even if you have to dismount at some points.

We started the trail from Hulsig and failed on the path along the North Sea. Due to high tides, the trail was impassable. We were able to climb Rajberg Mile from the north, which was beautiful.
