This former lock keeper's house, abandoned after the closure of the Huningue canal in 1961 and renovated in 2010 according to the criteria of sustainable development, today houses a tourist information point. You will find there in particular the map of the nature reserve's hiking trails, the annual entertainment program, as well as plenty of tourist information to enrich your stay in the three-country region.

With the e-bike to the old lock, then on foot and armed with binoculars, we enjoyed one of the circular trails through the petite Camargue. Then we rode back home.
