In the middle of the Aaper forest, situated on a small hill, there is an impressive collection of quartzites, the so-called Frauensteine.

Sure, this is how I would write it nicely and naturally for Komoot: Why is this tour always worth it? This tour is always worth it because it is simply beautiful and relaxing. You have a great view of the greenery along the way, you can really switch off, and the route is pleasant to walk. The tour is ideal, especially with a dog: not too long, quiet, and perfect for a short walk with Orlando. It's also practical that there are enough parking spaces and you can start directly from the car park. For us, it's a nice little break in Düsseldorf – easily accessible, pleasant to walk, and always beautiful.

The Unterbacher Lake is a great running area. You can leisurely walk around it and enjoy the view over the lake.

Completely unsuitable for bicycles!!! Partly very steep, dangerously slippery and blocked by trees lying across the road. In some places about 20cm wide. No way for pedestrians or oncoming traffic to move out of the way. We have no business being there!
