The Dalkeweg is also recommended as a day hike. Start at the Neue Mühle and follow the path through Gütersloh. Take a detour to the city park or the botanical garden. Take a break at the Wapelbad, the Parkbad, the Palmenhaus Café or the “Die Weberei” community center. The end point is Ruthmanns Mühle on Sürenheider Straße.
