Stiftswald Forestry Lodge It was built between 1847 and 1848 by the Bavarian Forestry Administration to replace the existing Entersweiler District Forestry Office. The building is a two-story structure with a slate roof. A single-story extension and an outbuilding were added in 1850, along with a barn with a horse stable, a draw well, and a gate dating from the original construction. After the Stiftswald Forestry Lodge was completed, the old Entersweiler District Forestry Office was demolished. The construction of the new lodge took place during the tenure of District Forester Johann Wilhelm Ritter, father of Karl Albrecht von Ritter (1833-1858). After the end of the Second World War (1939-1945), the Stiftswald Forestry Lodge became the headquarters of the Kaiserslautern-East Forestry Office, which is still located there today and is now simply called the Kaiserslautern Forestry Office.
