The "dog meadow" is easy to reach from the Waldfriedhof car park, by bike or simply on foot. Many dog owners meet here with their furry friends to romp and play on the lean meadow and to explore the nearby mountain forest. The meadow has not been mown in summer for several years - a splendor and a feast for the eyes when everything is in bloom.

The Schleißheim Palace complex is located in the municipality of Oberschleißheim in the Munich district. It is a complex of three individual palace buildings from the 17th and 18th centuries, which are connected axially by a spacious garden. The area includes the Old Schleißheim Palace to the west, the neighboring New Schleißheim Palace and Lustheim Palace at the eastern end of the park. The building ensemble was built by the Bavarian electors as a summer residence, but the complex remained unfinished. Source: Wikipedia
