The newly built gate has stood since 2013 exactly where the previous building was. This had to be demolished in June 1885 because carts could hardly pass through the then dilapidated gate on Mühlenstraße - today even the fire brigade can get through. The gate is about 8.80 meters wide, 8.50 meters long and 14.60 meters high.
