Really a beautiful and mostly quite relaxed path to ride. The crossing of Bernauer Straße is now really safe and convenient thanks to the underpass. Currently (as of 17.07.2026) two CONSTRUCTION SITES: 1. Bank path (!) between the AFC Berlin Adler sports field and Plötzensee is closed; 2. Underpass of the General-Ganeval-Brücke (access to the former Tegel Airport / TXL) is closed - approx. 1.2km long signposted detour, partly (several 100m at the dog school) gravel chips!

A great smooth bike path where you can also ride fast sometimes

The path directly along the canal was unofficially reopened after 1.5 years of construction work and the roots are even worse than before. You shouldn't even ride here with an MTB.
