In its center, a tall column displays the statue of the Württemberg Duke Karl Eugen with a princely hat, a braided wig, and a cornucopia, from which he lets charitable guilders rain down. The original, created by the stonemason Christian Wälde, was restored in 1975 and has since stood protected, along with the other two historical marketplace fountain sculptures, in the Wandelhalle of the Kurgarten.
