They have a really delicious breakfast here. Perfect for me because I'm definitely not going for a bike ride at 8 a.m.

The hall church, built in 1499, was rebuilt between 1945 and 1948 after its destruction in the Second World War. It consists of a nave, a retracted, three-sided choir in the east, to which a church tower was added at the apex of the choir in 1737. It was extended with a storey with chamfered corners, which houses the tower clock and the bell cage, and covered with an onion dome.

Be sure to pack a swimsuit 🩳 There is always an opportunity to cool off in the Iller when the outside temperature is pleasantly warm.🤗

At the end of the 15th century, Canon Dr. Conrad Wenger and the Prince-Bishop of Augsburg established the District Hospital Foundation, which still includes a retirement home. The associated hospital church, originally built in 1499, along with the retirement home, fell victim to air raids in 1945 and was eventually rebuilt in its original state. Until 1920, the hospital also served as the local hospital.

Until 1945, the building of the former Kronenbräu inn stood on this central square in the city center. From 1920 onward, it served as the second town hall in the town's history. The building burned down in 1945 during the French occupation; today, only a memorial stone on the Upper Market commemorates it.

This traditional brewery has held the brewing license since 1657 and, 200 years later, passed into the hands of Josef Anton Höß. He laid the foundation for many subsequent generations of his family, who, with love and passion, transformed the brewery into what it is today. A lot has happened between then and now: At the end of the 19th century, the brewery was completely renovated, only to be destroyed again about 50 years later. But this setback had only a minor impact on the Höß family's motivation. With inexhaustible enthusiasm, the team picked themselves back up and celebrated the brewery's 300th anniversary shortly thereafter. As demand for Hirschbräu's excellent beer continued to grow, the family had to undertake several expansions and modernizations over the years. The fermentation cellar and brewhouse were brought up to date with the latest technology, a brewery inn was built, and bottling facilities were added. Today, the brewery brews according to the most modern standards and is working hard to reduce its own ecological footprint.
