Did I write that there's no beer garden in Kemnitz? No, wrong. Kemnitz has an exemplary beer garden, the Rittmeister. The food has been better. But the beer, which is brewed here on site, provides comfort after a long drive. And the food isn't bad. But it has been more engaging.

The Bürgerbahnhof Potsdam, officially known as Bahnhof Potsdam Charlottenhof, is a historic railway station in Potsdam, Brandenburg. It is located west of the Potsdam city center and serves as a stopping point for regional transport. The station is known for its architectural design in the neoclassical style and was opened in 1868. The name "Bürgerbahnhof" comes from the fact that it was originally designed primarily for the citizens of the city, as opposed to the Kaiserbahnhof, which was built specifically for the German Emperor Wilhelm II and his guests. The Potsdam Charlottenhof station is located near the Sanssouci Park, thus providing convenient access to the city's historical and tourist attractions. The Bürgerbahnhof is an example of historic railway architecture and is now a listed building. Despite its age, it remains actively used and is an important part of the public transport network in Potsdam.
