The museum is very informative, and the open-air museum is even more so, all for 3.50. I can highly recommend a bush.

A wonderful place :) The lovely lady with her ice cream stand deserves special mention. Simply delicious! The Rothen-Kelle also hosts occasional cooking events/brunch stands. It's worth stopping by!

The Groß Radener See, also known as the Binnensee, is located about five kilometers northeast of Sternberg. The approximately 1200 meter long and up to 340 meter wide body of water is part of the Sternberg lake landscape. The lake is divided into a smaller western basin and a larger eastern basin. The water is very clear. The lake is connected to the Trenntsee and Großer Sternberger See via narrow passages. The Slavic castle of Groß Raden is located on a peninsula in the east of the lake. The northern shore is very steep, and this is also where the eponymous town of Groß Raden is located. The lake lies entirely within the city of Sternberg, but borders the municipality of Witzin on the southern shore. The transition to the Trenntsee is swampy.
