The natural pool is located about 120 meters from the campsite on the Wurlsee, along the circular hiking trail around the Wurlsee (yellow cross). The hiking trail is very narrow here, so there is no space for sunbathing and no seating. (Source: https://www.brandenburg-tourism.com)

The Uckermark Lakes are located in northeast Brandenburg, starting about 50 kilometers north of Berlin. In the northwest, the lake area merges seamlessly into the Mecklenburg Lake District. The Neustrelitz Small Lake District includes parts of both federal states and lake districts. Not all lakes in the political-historical Uckermark belong to the Uckermark natural area. The greatest density of lakes in the district is found in the Havel catchment area and is classified as part of the North Brandenburg Forest and Lake District natural area. (Source: Wikipedia)

The Wurlsee is a lake located in the north-east of Germany near Lychen, in the Uckermark, in the state of Brandenburg. The Wurlsee is one of the seven lakes of the Lychen Lake Cross, but is not in the main stretch of the Lychen waters. It is considered one of the Uckermark lakes. The lake is characterized by its clear water and is located about 80 km north of Berlin. It is connected to the Nesselpfuhl via a canal, the Wurlflut, which together with the Lychener Mühlbach forms a tributary of the Lychen waters. The Woblitz, which can be reached from the Großer Lychensee, provides a navigable connection to the Havel. This makes the Wurlsee an excellent starting point for canoe trips. Larger pleasure boats are not allowed to cross the Nesselpfuhl due to the low bridge heights between Wurlsee and Nesselpfuhl as well as Nesselpfuhl and the city or Great Lychen Lake. On a peninsula on the south bank of the lake there is a former Slavic castle wall. The residential area of Wurlgrund is on the north-east bank. (Source: Wikipedia)
