Here at Berghahn stands the only wind turbine in the area, visible from all over Lüdenscheid. Recently, there has been discussion about building another one on the neighboring Berghahn, a secondary hill of the Homert, which has caused considerable controversy. It would be a shame if the Stilleking nature reserve were to be affected in this way. Surely there are other suitable hills for wind turbines.

A wonderful view over the meadows of the Heck cattle reserve at Stilleking. A forest sofa invites you to rest, and information panels provide details about the area.

NABU has renovated an old farmstead in Oelken and offers fantastic courses, seminars, rooms, and even a forest kindergarten. Great!
