Among the most interesting buildings in Kromlauer Park are Kromlauer Castle and the Rakotz Bridge (Rakotz = Sorbian for cancer), built from 1863 to 1882 from basalt and fieldstone, also known locally as the Devil's Bridge. With a span of 35 meters, it crosses Lake Rakotz, but is no longer accessible. Its semicircle is reflected in the lake, creating a complete circle. The basalt columns arranged in the lake are called the organ.
