This is Hohwacht Beach Hohwacht's beach, over 2 km long, is located on Hohwacht Bay, east of Kiel. The diverse beach consists of cliffs and light sand. There are also two sections for your four-legged friend. Hohwacht is a former fishing village, and you can see that this charm has remained. You can discover and admire many small fishermen's cottages from that time. From the unusual sea platform of the "Flunder" (Flushing) you have a beautiful view of the sea. On the cliffs in the western part, there is another viewing platform, "Kiek ut," from which you have a great view of Hohwacht Bay. The ice cream and coffee on the beach are delicious 😋

The Hohwacht Golf Course covers a total of 120 hectares and boasts a location on the large inland lake and its proximity to Hohwacht Bay (Baltic Sea). The course features an 18-hole and a 9-hole course, as well as extensive practice facilities in the "Golfodrom." Built in 1992 and designed by a renowned golf course architect, the courses are particularly notable for their wide fairways. In addition to picturesque views over the surrounding rapeseed fields, the 18-hole Hohwacht course offers both golfing challenges and fun. Spanning over 6,000 meters, it features around 43 bunkers, challenging water hazards, and a signature island green, a truly unique feature. For additional golfing enjoyment, the par 73 course can be perfectly combined with the 9-hole Neudorf course. The Neudorf course, with its par 32, can be played for handicap-effective tournament play and is also open to golfers without membership in the German Golf Association. You only need a golf license to hone your golf game on this short round, making the 9 holes particularly popular with beginners and those who enjoy a quick round. The course stretches 2,000 meters around the golf course's practice facility, the Golfodrom. Unique in Schleswig-Holstein, the Golfodrom covers an impressive 5 hectares and offers 150 tees, from which you can play to target greens of varying difficulty. The path around the circular practice facility allows you to tailor your tee shot to your individual practice sessions. In addition to the practice facilities, the Golfodrom also houses a branch of the Paul Dyer Golf School, run by top golf trainer Paul Dyer. Dogs are allowed on a leash on the Neudorf course. You can also stay overnight in our "GolfCubes" holiday tiny houses and spend your golf vacation right on the golf course. Our GolfCubes are located in a unique and idyllic location right on the tee. They offer the ideal overnight accommodation for golfers and are characterized by their modern style, which contributes to a very special feel-good factor.
