It's very easy to ride (in both directions) on a road bike. Even during the holiday season, there's relatively little traffic.

A photo stop at one of the town entrance signs is a must! Otherwise, the route is easy to navigate on a racing bike, although there are some road damages in places.

Other swimming areas can be found in Wöbbensredder or at Hamburger Strand in Sielbeck. The swimming areas in Sielbeck and Fissau are unguarded. The mighty trunks of the old oaks are truly impressive. It's just a shame that many of them, which have survived for centuries, are now being wiped out by disease and insect infestation.

Haffkrug, probably the oldest seaside resort in the Bay of Lübeck, used to be a fishing village - and you can still see that today. Since the 1970s it has been a seaside health resort that has retained the pleasant calm of the fishermen. In the middle of a rural idyll, this Baltic Sea resort lies on a white powder sand beach and on the promenade you will find small stone sea creatures between thatched pavilions that remind you of the origins of the place.
