A copy of a granite Electoral Saxon distance column, dated 1730, stands in the market square. The coat of arms is made of sandstone. The column was relocated in the mid-19th century. The distance markings were re-carved, although some old markings were also omitted. It was restored in 1975, and a replica of the column was later constructed. The original parts are on display in the town hall.
