The "skyscraper" Baťův mrakodrap is now an administrative building and is only open on weekdays.

Tomáš Baťa founded the company in 1894 and had the fascinating vision that his employees should enjoy working and share in the success of his company. The concept was a great success and is still considered a role model today. For a long time the company's headquarters was in the "skyscraper" Baťův mrakodrap. Today it is an administrative building and still contains Tomáš Baťa's 6x6 m mobile office (as an elevator). In the shop in town you can try on and buy shoes. I also found a hint that you can design your own shoes!

In the heart of Vizovice is the magnificent baroque castle of the same name. Of particular interest is the interior, which is largely original and beautifully restored. In addition to furniture, there are also valuable paintings by Dutch artists. You can find more information here: https://www.zamek-vizovice.cz/.

A distillery has been producing the delicious Slivovice since the 16th century. You can visit Rudolf Jelínek's distillery on guided tours and, of course, buy a bottle of the brandy on the go. Information is available here: https://rudolfjelinek.com/.
