The Maltschacher See is a hidden gem among Carinthian lakes - for families as well as nature lovers.

Here stands - unfortunately directly on the not infrequently busy Ossiacher Süduferstraße - in the hamlet of Prägrad, a very beautiful, nice little chapel from 1806 between two large trees. The interior, in which there is a cross with a Herrgott in front of a beautifully painted background in the middle, as well as a depiction of Mary or a blessing Christ on the side walls, is secured by a grille. Despite the somewhat "unfavorable" location, it is a very beautiful and, above all, well-maintained small monument - very worth seeing.

Located at Schillerplatz in Feldkirchen—about 50 meters from the market square—is this original fountain, inviting you to pause and take a closer look. On the one hand, this fountain features several colorfully painted bicycles and, on the other, several metal figures engaged in various "break activities"—a very, very nice place for a long break.

The bowl fountain at Rauterplatz. The bowl fountain from the 17th century has a block with pine cones in the middle.
