The old railway line is a great ride! Impressive buildings along the route! And the views of the surrounding mountains are fantastic!

From the top down it is currently closed due to construction work (July 28, 2024). There are no signs indicating a closure from the bottom up. The elevation gain is on asphalt, and the top is on a very good gravel road. A short section at the end is coarse gravel and a little steep, but no problem at all with an MB. I'm glad I found this route, I wouldn't have liked the main road up to Mallnitz... 🤗
