The Steyregger Lake, four hectares in size and a maximum depth of 8.5 m, offers space for around 2,000 visitors, who will find a children's playground with a paddling pool and a volleyball court. In winter, curling is also possible under floodlights. The lake was created through dredging in 2003 and 2004 as part of the construction of the new sports and leisure center, which also contains the new SV Steyregg sports facility and an allotment garden. Operations began in June 2004. https://www.land-oberoesterreich.gv.at/50084.htm

The building in its current size dates from the second half of the 14th century around 1370 and is dedicated to Saint Stephen. During the renovation from 1974 to 1977, many older foundations and remains of small windows and gates in the walls came to light, which suggest the older structure of a church or chapel. The presbytery, the left aisle and the vault for the gallery are Gothic. The central nave was also previously Gothic. Behind the current round arches there are still the Gothic pointed arches. The church probably burned down more than 250 years ago. The ceiling was created in its current form by simply nailing wooden formwork to the rafters of the roof structure, plastering it and adding stucco. https://www.oberoesterreich.at/oesterreich-poi/detail/401140/stadtpfarrkirche-steyregg.html

Animal-assisted education means learning about nature conservation - animal welfare - environmental protection in harmony with creation. These wonderful animals can be observed while walking in their pasture. I think they move very majestically and have a very calming effect.😊🧡

Sand, a view of the water and well-mixed cocktails - all right on our/my front door. More precisely at the Pichlingersee at the "Tortuga-Bar". Numerous sun loungers and only a few meters from the lake create a real holiday mood. Why wander into the distance when the good is so close!😉🏖🍹🌅
