The beach of Roelshoek near Krabbendijke is one of the undiscovered gems on the Oosterschelde. The beach is not crowded and is perfect for spotting birds during a picnic. So be sure to bring your binoculars and camera. This location has excellent water quality for a refreshing dip. At low tide, a vast mudflat area appears. This dried-up piece of soil is ideal for mudflat hiking. In short, this beach offers many possibilities and is also great to visit with children. There is a spacious free parking area.
