The old harbor of Rotterdam is worth a trip. There you can visit an old shipyard, marvel at old ships (and also rent them for events). The old high-rise building (het Witte Huis), the first skyscraper in Europe, and the quirky cube houses are also found there.

The mill is very beautiful to look at. The paths around the mill are excellent for pedestrians and cyclists

The mill is very beautiful and well preserved. The road past the mill is quite narrow and there is always quite a lot of traffic on weekends. Because all road users have to share the small road.

A very nice path because of the beautiful houses and the drawbridges. But beware! There is a lot of traffic with pedestrians and cyclists, especially on weekends, and then the paths become quite narrow.

The Resistance Monument for Terbregge consists of five stones from a quarry in Sweden. The monument's symbolism lies in the footprints carved into the large stone; the imprints of people who left their mark on Terbregge. Sculptor Hans Leutscher placed a bronze plaque on one of the four stones bearing the portraits of resistance fighters N.J. van der Valk, A. van den Bos, and D. van der Kooij. Three blank stones commemorate unknown heroes. The monument offers an opportunity to commemorate the horrors of the war and the role of the three resistance fighters. It also serves as a place of reflection on senseless violence. The monument was unveiled in April 2000, in time for the Remembrance Day celebrations on May 4th. This monument was erected in memory of three resistance fighters: Abraham van den Bos, Dirk van der Kooij, and Nicolaas van der Valk. One of them was shot by the Germans, another died in Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp. The third survived World War II. Text on the monument: And we follow the course of their perseverance.
