The SBB Ritom power station, built from 1917, offers a fascinating journey on one of the steepest funiculars in Switzerland. The Ritom funicular, which has also been open to tourists since 1921, impresses with a gradient of 87.8 percent. The current carriage for 50 passengers dates from 1985, while the earlier carriage is on display at the valley station in Piotta.
