The spa park borders Schaffgotsch Castle in Cieplice. The first mention of the French palace garden dates back to 1748. In 1838, the park was fundamentally rebuilt according to new standards in the English style. In 2010-2012, the spa park underwent a thorough revitalization, during which attempts were made to restore the park to its former appearance. The paths were paved, new avenues were marked out, the tree population was adjusted, many flowers and ornamental shrubs were planted, and new grass was sown. The spa theater and stage were also renovated, and the entire park was enclosed by a cast-iron, stylized fence. The park also features stylized lanterns and matching new benches, as well as elements of so-called small architecture, reminiscent of the nineteenth-century "furniture" of Cieplice's spa park. I recommend a stopover here: The Schaffgotsch Palace, also known as Schaffgotsches Palais and Warmbrunn Palace, in the Polish town of Cieplice Śląskie-Zdrój, a district of Jelenia Góra, is an early Classicist palace building with an extensive palace and spa park.
