Andrzej Zboiński was the founder and long-time president of the Masovian Mountain Club "MATRAGONA. He was the organizer of the "Pedestrian Marathons in the Kampinos Forest", in which he covered a total of 3,000 kilometers as the most persistent participant. He was the creator of the idea of forest marathons, in which over 2,000 of the most persistent walkers have recently taken part over distances of 50, 75 and 100 km. Dziekanów Leśny is an important starting point for the eastern part of the Kampinos Forest. From Dziekanów Leśne we can walk through the forest to Truskaw, Palmiry, Zaborów, Leszno, Kampinos and even Żelazowa Wola. Dziekanów Leśne is easily reached by bus 150 from the Młociny metro station.
