The complex of medieval defensive walls in Pyrzyce is one of the most interesting and relatively well-preserved urban fortifications in Western Pomerania, with outstanding scientific and historical values. Monk's Tower (Monastery) located in the south-eastern corner of the wall, next to the former Franciscan monastery, built around the mid-19th century. 14th century and added in 1562. The two lower storeys were built on a rectangular plan, with dimensions 540 x 430 cm, upper circular, with an external diameter of 420 cm; the whole thing is topped with a low pyramidal helmet. The walls are made of ceramic bricks with Wendish bond (lower part). Currently, the tower is in ruins; the cylindrical part does not exist, and the four-sided part is preserved fragmentarily.
