Svartedamm is a "dead-ice" hollow (kettle hole) located within the Häckeberga Nature Conservation Area just east of Genarp. Its name, "Black Pond," comes from the dark, humic water that perfectly mirrors the surrounding beech forest, creating a mystical and tranquil atmosphere.

Open to public. One can do this trail/s 24Hrs 7 Days a week. Just check before the tour if there is track maintenance going on, even though it happens very rare. Definitely some deep profile on wide MTB tires recomended with some good brake system & low gear group.

The cat seems to be a regular guest at this wind shelter. She is a friendly fella if you treat her well. If you have sensitive gear like a down sleeping bag, keep in mind, that she will spend the night with you. We tried to put a towel between our sleeping bag and the cat that insisted on sleeping on our feet. However, that helped poorly against her claws ;)
