❤️⚪️❤️The black-and-white lighthouse ⚪️❤️Christian the Tall in the south of Kampen⚗️: At the time when Sylt belonged to the Danish Kingdom , King Frederick VII of Denmark commissioned in 1853 to build a lighthouse on the highest point of the island. Until 1953, the tower was yellow-gray, the color of weathered clinker bricks. Only after that did it receive its distinctive black-and-white appearance ❤️⚪️. Since it was put into operation in 1856, it is one of two lighthouses in Kampen ⚗️. It is not accessible, but can be viewed from the outside and is a popular excursion destination & photo motif ⚪️❤️.
