Today it is a Reformed church, where weddings and other services are permitted. The church tower offers a viewing platform accessible via 71 steps. On a clear day, one can enjoy panoramic views of the Vosges Mountains, the Black Forest, the Jura Mountains, and the Alps. An earlier predecessor building is believed to have existed as early as the 7th century.
