The Drachenbrunnen (Dragespringvandet) on Copenhagen City Hall Square is a monument of bronze and granite, designed by Joakim Skovgaard and Thorvald Bindesbøll. The fountain basin is lined with water-spouting dragons and lizards, which, according to an anecdote, were intended to intimidate citizens with complaints when entering the City Hall. After several relocations and a renovation during the subway construction, the fountain was fully reopened in the center of the square in June 2023.

The famous Dragon Fountain stands in the middle of the Town Hall Square in Copenhagen and features a fighting bull and dragon as its central motif. The artwork was designed by Joakim Skovgaard and Thorvald Bindesbøll, with the inauguration being delayed for several years until 1923 after some back and forth. After several relocations and an extensive renovation, the fine piece has been standing smartly restored in its place again since 2023.

The Danish Architecture Center in the striking BLOX building right on the Copenhagen harbor is Denmark's national hotspot for creative building culture and urban development. In the distinctive glass and concrete complex, interactive exhibitions revolve around the connection between modern architecture, design, and sustainable urban living. In addition to exciting insights into Scandinavian design icons, the venue also tempts with a giant slide, a great shop, and wonderful views from the roof terraces.

The views of the newer city districts are very interesting. Old and partly very modern architecture merge.

Very nice view up here from the bridge. It is very loud here because of the many cars. The bike path is nice and wide, the view is wonderful.

The bridge itself is nothing special. You have a good view of the landscape and across to the city, the bridge is very high. However, the path leading over here is worth it. You can get out of the city quite quickly along the bank. The further course is also very beautifully guided scenically.
