After 1945, a memorial wall was erected from the surviving gravestone fragments, commemorating the lost graves. Later, symbolic gravestones supplemented this reminder. The Jewish Museum in Eisenstadt has created a register of individuals buried in the cemetery, offering valuable insights into the people interred there. The cemetery is currently locked, but the key can be obtained from the municipality. The figures on the pedestal of the Plague Column in Mattersburg depict the four plague saints, who were venerated in the Middle Ages as patron saints against devastating epidemics. St. Sebastian is traditionally depicted as a martyr pierced by arrows and is considered one of the most important patron saints against epidemics. Beside him stands St. Roch, usually recognizable by his pilgrim's robe and the plague boil on his thigh, accompanied by his faithful dog, who brings him food. St. Barbara can be recognized by her attributes, such as a tower or a chalice; she protects the dying and preserves from sudden death. Finally, St. Mary Magdalene appears as a penitent saint, often with an ointment jar or a skull, indicating transience. These figures symbolize protection and hope in times of plague-related hardship and are a central part of the artistic design of the Mattersburg Plague Column.

The group of statues on the imposing baroque main square of Győr, Széchenyi Square, was erected in 1686 by Lipót Kollonich from Győr to honor the recapture of Buda from the Turks.

The Baroque church on Bécsi Kapu Square was built between 1716 and 1732 according to the plans of Márton Athanáz Wittwer. The church is open: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday 7:30 – 11:00 and 16:00-17:30 (until the end of the evening mass on Saturday); Sunday 8:30-12:00 and 16:00-18:00.

The town hall building was built between 1896 and 1900 based on the designs of Jenő Hübner. The town tower, reminiscent of the former Győr Fire Tower, is 59 meters high. The main facade features the Baroque coat of arms of the city of Győr carved in stone (the figure of Saint Stephen the martyr with wavy lines symbolizing the Danube-Rába-Rábca rivers).

The earliest Baroque-style church in present-day Hungary was built by the Jesuits in 1634. The church has been owned by the Benedictines since 1802.
