The Piscitello lava flow cave has an easy-to-access entrance. The 786 trail that leads to the Piscitello cave is in some places impassable by bike due to the presence of some sections on the 1669 lava flow that are really heavy due to the presence of large moving stones and some "steps" along the path. In other places the broom vegetation hinders the passage.

The Rifugio Alpino Ragabo hotel is located on the Linguaglossa side of Etna. A very nice place, especially to refresh yourself after a long walk. Too bad about the excessive number of motorcyclists... including noise and exhaust fumes. https://www.ragabo.it/

Bivouac immersed in a large beech forest which turns orange/red between October and November. Inside there are 4 beds, two benches, a table and a wood stove. In the bivouac there is also a fountain with non-potable water. Poor connection.
