The circular hike is not recommended! It's best to return the same way.

Be sure to buy water from the friendly host, especially in summer. The hike can be strenuous in summer, but the view and the cave make up for it.

If you walk directly from Krabba to the waterfall and back, the hike is easy. It took us about an hour each way. It's a very impressive area and a lot of fun to hike. There are also signposts at the most important points, and some of the stones are marked.

Be sure to bring a flashlight. You can rent one from the tourist information office near the start of the tour.

You shouldn't do this hike on your own! The paths are very difficult to find and in some places we had to climb along rocks. The path to point 1 is really difficult but doable for people with a good level of fitness and a head for heights, but it is still dangerous. It took us about 3 hours to get to this point. After point 1, a marker led us along the river. There you come to a key point with a crevice in the rock that you can't manage on your own without climbing equipment. Our tour ended in a night-time police search because we wouldn't have been able to get back without help. The police told us that we weren't the first to experience this.

Very beautiful but difficult hike. Lots of elevation change on a poorly marked path. And more water on site. Unpaved path to reach the parking lot.
