Marine drive is an old road with an impressive archway. It is a tarmac road but you start to get beautiful views down the rugged coastline of the Isle of Man.

The official start point of the Raad Ny Follian near Douglas Bridge. It is by a pretty marina, the sign is on the other side of the road.

It used to be possible to drive there by car, but due to the collapsing cliff part of the road collapsed into the sea. Wonderful views you can see dolphins.

The Marine Drive archway, which was originally constructed in 1891, is a former toll gate, indicating that Marine Drive used to be a toll road.

But we started it here, on the Millennium Bridge in Douglas, which seemed like a popular start place according to our guidebook and other's experiences that we'd read online.
