No real difficulty until the summit. Be careful in case of snow.

The high pass between Sikkilsdalen and Gjende – the gateway to Jotunheimen – Sikkilsdalskardet is an important path junction. It features on both the Omveien and Jotunheimstien long-distance trails and affords glorious views.

Sikkilsdalshøa is the 5,833-foot (1,778 m) high point of a grand massif on the northern side of Sikkilsdalen on the cusp of Jotunheimen National Park. The hike up from Sikkilsdalsseter is strenuous but not overly technical. A vast panorama including Rondane, Dovre, Jotunheimen and Langsua awaits from the top on a clear day. However, it’s the view down the length of Gjendebåten, towards the famous Bessengen and into the heart of Jotunheimen that's the most impressive.

This hut is quite small, but very cozy. Inside, you can buy warm drinks and take a good break before heading down. There are also small souvenirs for sale. From the outside, the building looks really beautiful, even when it's frozen.

The top spot in Norway. Even in summer, there's snow there, and the weather can be really bad. But when it's sunny, you can see the surroundings so well. There are also small binoculars, and the hut is right next to it. A place I highly recommend. It's not easy to get there, but it's worth it.
