The beautifully situated Moosalp is easily accessible by bus. From here, you can enjoy wonderful circular hikes with stunning views of the Valais mountains. We recommend the two lakes (Boniger See with its moor and Breitmattensee), the Breitmatte with its magnificent mountain views, and the Stand viewpoint with its panoramic views, as well as the beautiful forest and meadow paths all around.

I was lucky enough to marvel at more, less, or all of the viaduct as the clouds drifted by, changing the view every second. It's truly impressive what they built back then, given the circumstances. 👌🏻 There's a picnic area above.
