Very religious area. At the roadsides there are often field crosses, through which one shows God one's gratitude, e.g. that the harvest was good, or that someone from the family has become healthy again. Or one asks for his blessing this way.

Orchid forest doesn't quite fit the description. But if you replace orchids with Himalayan balsam, the description is accurate. Himalayan balsam – Wikipedia https://share.google/mmSSeQIC5i1wTfELt

"We manage a small, diverse mixed farm based on biodynamic agriculture. We began converting the entire farm and its land to biodynamic farming in May 2008 and have been a member of the Demeter Farming Association ever since. We have been certified organic since November 2009, and all of our food has been officially Demeter-certified since May 2010. Our farm is located near Vogt, between Wangen and Ravensburg, on the hilly edge of the Allgäu region. The farm buildings are sheltered by ancient linden trees, located on the nearby shore of the Holzmühleweiher pond. We manage 12 hectares of grassland, 8 hectares of arable land, and 4 hectares of forest. The meadows and pastures surrounding the farm serve as fodder for our Fleckvieh herd. In summer, they are grazed all day, and in winter, the aromatic hay from these meadows is fed in the barn. In addition to the cow herd, we also keep free-range pigs on our farm. Our chickens live in a mobile coop that allows them to peck, scratch, and roam the grassland all year round. We grow many different vegetables, potatoes, and grains in our fields.
