Great Bioland bakery and patisserie in Schmalegg with a really good selection of fresh bread, rolls, and cakes. I particularly appreciate the Bioland certificate; you can tell that value is placed on high-quality, healthy, and regional ingredients. The taste is really top-notch! A great idea is also the bread box or the vending machine where the goods are offered. This allows for uncomplicated and flexible shopping. For just 5 Euros, you can get a package with bread or even cake, a really fair offer and perfect for trying out new products. I also particularly liked the bookshelf in the entrance area. Customers can take books for free or exchange them for others, a really great and sustainable idea that makes the visit even more appealing. Everything appears very tidy, lovingly designed, and well thought out. The combination of regional quality, sustainability, and a modern sales concept makes this place special. I can definitely recommend it!

It's always fascinating what you can find along the way - here, presumably, a historical remnant of a mill, as a canal and a small weir can be found a little further up in the forest.
