The Koi Temple Scholz in Lelkendorf is a specialized shop for garden ponds, koi carp, and accessories, housed in an impressive, Chinese-style building (hence the name "temple"). It is not a religious temple, but rather an exceptional garden pond and fish shop with an attached holiday apartment.

Across from the moated castle complex, on the other side of the North Peene, there is a so-called horse pumping station, a pumping station! This was covered and a harnessed horse ran in a circle around a lifting boom so that water could be pumped out of the Peene, which was then channeled to the upper part of the town. The facility, which has now been lovingly rebuilt/reconstructed, is said to have been in use until shortly after the Second World War. Today it invites you to take a rest or a break, and also offers protection from the rain, should anyone happen to get lost in this area!

Pohnstorf Manor is located in the heart of Mecklenburg Switzerland. Halfway up the Hardtberg, which at 124 m is one of the highest elevations in Mecklenburg, Pohnstorf Manor is one of the highest manor houses in Mecklenburg. In the midst of forest, fields and meadows, with a wide view of the landscape, it is the ideal place to unwind and relax.

... a beautiful medieval archaeological monument on the Reyer Mühlbach. The ramparts of the old fortifications are clearly visible. An information board provides information about the history of the moated castle complex.

Great place for a break. A lovingly designed, covered recreation area is located right next to the source. The water is good for me. I filled 1.5 liters into a bottle and drank it throughout the day. Yummy!
