In my opinion, this is the preferred route between Thomasburg and Ellringen. It's varied, undulating, and traffic-free. However, due to the not always perfect surface, caution is required.

The crossing with a bicycle now costs €3.50 in June 2024, but that's still reasonable. The ferry runs back and forth constantly during the day. 9 p.m. seems to be the last stop.
