The Ilmenau is an 86-kilometer-long (125-kilometer-long with its source, the Stederau) left and southern tributary of the Elbe in northeastern Lower Saxony. With an average water flow of around 18 cubic meters per second, it is by far the largest river in the Lüneburg Heath. From the northwest edge of the Brausebrücke bridge at the Abtsmühle in Lüneburg to its confluence with the Elbe at km 599, it is a federal waterway,[6] for which the Elbe Waterways and Shipping Authority is responsible. Heidefriedhof Weste: Very, very beautiful...but apart from the local residents, not many visitors. Motto: If you don't already rest here...you can take your time. ;o)

Here in Borg there is the Iron Fundus. Everything is handmade by the boss. Nothing off the shelf. There is a lot to look at. Beautiful decorations but also useful things.

This idyllic cemetery is located between Testorf and Weste. It is a heath cemetery. That means that parts of the cemetery are planted with heather. The 1.5 hectare cemetery was inaugurated in 1948. There are places to sit for a short rest. Please leave bicycles outside the gate or push them around the grounds.
