After more than a year, the path is still not completely renovated! Yesterday (Sunday, and coming from Wiek) the barrier could be bypassed. The familiar block paving follows, which was renewed a few years ago. It rides well, but from the edges the path is growing over, so that the full width is no longer usable. Later, a long section with fresh gravel follows, and everywhere there are pallets with block paving stones, which are presumably to be laid here?!? And further on towards the ferry, the new paving has already been laid, and just before the ferry, the barrier had been moved aside. As I said, I cannot say whether it is like this daily or only on weekends when no work is being done.

Many prohibition signs with no discernible property lines! A local resident came towards me on my bike and pointed out the prohibition signs. Even though I didn't want to start a discussion, it was made very clear to me that I wasn't welcome there and that I should turn around immediately... It's best to just avoid it!

A solid, covered rest area along the trail, complete with trash cans. It's nice to be able to leave your trash there.

The linden avenue between the Zubzow manor house and the L 302 is simply beautiful in every season, providing pleasant shade in summer and protection from strong winds, and in June, it even comes with a fragrance package. A trail surface for gravel fans. It's only a short stretch, for those who don't like the bumpy gravel...
