Along the gently babbling Nieme River, you'll find numerous beautiful hiking trails. The river winds its way through the Münden Nature Park, which stretches around Hannoversch Münden between Göttingen and Kassel. The 450-square-kilometer nature park is characterized by its hilly topography. The landscape is characterized by orchards, meadow valleys, quarries, and extensive forests. If you'd like to learn more about the nature park, it's worth visiting the nature park office in the Forestry Botanical Garden, a natural monument, in Hannoversch Münden. Memorial stone for Bodo Börries von Stockhausen. The von Stockhausen family. With the settlement of the property rights between the Imbsen parish and the fideicommissary owner Bodo Börries von Stockhausen on February 12, 1920, the latter renounced all claims to the church building in Imbsen and discharged his patronage obligations by paying 20,000 marks. Conversely, the church council renounced "all claims of a property nature that it could have against the current fideicommissary owner or his legal successor, as well as against later fideicommissary owners on the basis of the existing patronage, in particular those arising from any church building burden, so that the respective patron as such is no longer obliged to make any property payments on the basis of the patronage right."24 With the repeal of the KapG Imbsen on January 1, 1982, the patronage expired.

Unfortunately, even when looking over the castle wall, you can't see much of Löwenhagen Castle.
