The St. Christopher's Church in Egeln in the Salzland district in Saxony-Anhalt is located in the town center on the market square. The church tower's double spire is striking. In 1267, when Duke Albrecht of Brunswick conquered the town in a feud against Otto von Hadmersleben, the existing church was destroyed. A few years later, a new town church was built.
